NAYC Update!!
We are devastated to share that NAYC21 will be cancelled as an in-person event. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts to organize and plan North American Youth Congress 2021 around the pandemic, based on the current status within the City of Indianapolis, we will be unable to hold an in-person conference for 2021 due to the stadium capacity restrictions of COVID-19.
The cancellation of NAYC21 as an in-person event is due to the following main reasons:
1. Lucas Oil Stadium capacity is still set at a limited capacity with no guarantee that it will increase. The limited stadium capacity would only allow us to accommodate a low number of attendees.
2. The Mayor of Marion County has stated that restrictions will continue to remain in place for the county and the city of Indianapolis.
3. The County Health Board has precedents to wait until a few days out to approve or deny an event request for stadium capacity, etc. This poses a great risk as to whether or not we would be able to host an NAYC.
We encourage attendees, students, youth groups, and churches to join us for NAYC21 online. This will not be just another virtual service, but we will encourage districts, sections, youth groups, and churches (if possible) to join together for this online event. You will not want to miss what God is going to do! Please visit upciyouth.com and our social media outlets for more information that will be released soon.
* Refunds will go out beginning next week April 6
* Fundraiser money earned will go towards Unity Weekend with any overage going to Move the Mission, formerly Sheaves for Christ.
* Please call the church office with any questions
